Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th May 2015 saw the insurance industry return to Manchester for its premier  annual conference, featuring globally renowned keynote speakers, senior industry personalities and decision makers within insurance organisations.

3 key trends we saw at BIBA 2015

  • Marketing campaign strategy and alignment remains siloed from sales and other vital areas of the business. Furthermore, measurement of sentiment and interaction across digital channels is often outsourced and therefore reactive or not measured at all.
  • Sales teams continue to struggle from a lack of information and transparency across accounts. Siloed information often leads to business development not fully exploiting the opportunity that exists with brokers / customers.
  • Productivity remains a key issue, disconnected systems and working practices mean time is spent on admin that should be spent on developing and closing new business.

Our Survey

Visitors to our stand were asked to complete a short survey highlighting their views on where insurance organisations technology investment and focus should lie over the coming year. The results will be published at our annual Insurance executives’ dinner in October.

The competition

Winners of our BIBA competition which offered VIP tickets to the NatWest T20 Blast game at The Kia Oval between Surrey and Middlesex on Friday 3rd of July will be announced on Friday 29th May.

The Social Night

Hosted at The Hard Rock Café the evening allowed us to network with key decision makers in an informal atmosphere. We also joined 2 of our clients at their own parties to further discuss their business direction and strategy over the coming year. These engagements reflect our position as a trusted partner within the industry.
